How is this different from screen-recording a slideshow?
A screen recording gives you a video of photos at your screen's resolution, with the watermark and UI on top. TikSave gives you the actual image files at upload resolution, clean.
Can I download all images at once?
Each image saves with one tap. On desktop, right-click → Save As also works. A zip-all button is on the roadmap.
What resolution are the images?
Whatever the creator uploaded — commonly 1080×1440 or higher. TikSave doesn't resize or recompress them.
Can I get the slideshow as a video?
When TikTok generates a video version of a slideshow, TikSave offers it alongside the images. Otherwise you get the images plus the sound, which most editors can rebuild into a video in a minute.
Do carousel posts from private accounts work?
No — like everything on TikSave, only public posts can be fetched.
Why do some old slideshows fail?
Very old photo posts sometimes lose their high-resolution sources on TikTok's side. If a slideshow fails repeatedly, TikTok may simply no longer serve its images.
Is there a limit on how many slideshows I can download?
