How to Download TikTok Videos on Any Device

There are two ways to save a TikTok video: TikTok's built-in Save Video button, and a downloader like TikSave. The built-in button is fine when it's available — but it stamps a bouncing watermark on the file, compresses it, and simply doesn't appear on many videos, because creators can disable downloads. This guide covers both routes on every device, and what to do when the Save button is missing.

Method 1 — TikTok's own Save Video button

Tap Share on the video, then Save Video. The file lands in your gallery (Android) or Photos (iPhone) with the TikTok watermark burned in.

When you don't see Save Video, the creator disabled downloads — TikTok removes the button entirely. The video is still watchable publicly, which means a downloader can still fetch it (method 2).

Method 2 — Download without watermark on iPhone

Copy the video's link from the Share sheet, open tiksave.com in Safari, paste, and tap Download. Safari stores the file in Files → Downloads.
