Is TikSave free? Is there a download limit?

How does the watermark get removed?
It isn't edited out — TikTok's own servers store a clean version of every video, and that's the file TikSave fetches. Because nothing is re-encoded, quality is identical to the original upload.
Do I need to install anything?

Where does the video go on my iPhone?

Is this legal? Is it safe?
Downloading public videos for personal use — offline viewing, archiving your own content — is generally fine; re-uploading someone else's work without permission is not. Why did my download fail?
The usual causes: the video is private or was deleted, the link was cut off when copying, or TikTok is rate-limiting requests from your region. Re-copy the link and try again — if it keeps failing, the video probably isn't publicly accessible.
