Getting the file into Photos on iPhone

Safari on iPhone doesn't drop videos straight into Photos. After you tap download, open Safari's Downloads menu (the arrow icon at the top of the screen), tap the file, then tap the share icon and choose Save Video. It shows up in Recents right away.

If you'd rather skip that step, open the file from the Files app under Downloads and tap Save Video there. Either way, the clip is now a normal video in your camera roll, ready to watch, edit, or share.

Where the video lands on Android

On Android the MP4 goes to the Downloads folder, and the gallery app on most phones picks it up on its own. If it doesn't show right away, open the Files app, find it in Downloads, and open it once. It appears in the gallery after that.
