Copying the link from TikTok on a computer

On tiktok.com, every video has a Share arrow on the right-hand side. Click it and choose Copy link. You can also grab the address straight from the browser's address bar while the video is open; both work.

If you found the video on your phone, tap Share, then Copy link, and send the link to yourself by email or a note. Open it on the laptop and paste it here.

Where the file goes on Mac and Windows

On a Mac, Safari and Chrome save the MP4 to the Downloads folder in Finder. On Windows it is the Downloads folder in File Explorer, and Edge or Chrome show a small download bar so you can open it straight away.

From there you can drag the file into a video editor, a slide deck or a folder for a project. It is a plain MP4 that any video player will open, no conversion needed.
